Projectors
Not all projectors are designed to be set up on a meeting room table. Edcom sells portable consumer projectors but we also sell products for larger applications such as lecture halls and even movie theatres. Here is a limited list of some of our featured manufactueres.
Mitsubishi is our leading supplier of DLP projectors. DLP chips are actually made up of millions of tiny mirrors which can rotate towards or away from the projector’s light source. DLP is therefore the only projector technology that can deliver true black in an image. DLP projectors are ideal for video applications; they require no air filter cleaning and their bulbs last twice as long as other types of projectors.
Panasonic is the workhorse brand of projectors. Their LCD projectors have developed a reputation for being extremely durable and well built. Panasonic projectors are relatively low cost and hence are a very good value. They are ideal for anyone who wants to keep initial cost and replacement cost at a minimum.
Professional Brands
Christie Digital is a manufacturer of professional grade projectors. These projectors are generally intended for permanent installation in large venues. Although, it should be noted, our rental department has two Christies in stock.
