In need of Service or Repair?

Our in-house Service Department is here to help you. Whenever possible our service coordinator will attempt to have your gear repaired by the original manufacturer or a warranty depot. Please contact us for details and costs at one of our southwestern Ontario locations.

Save Money! Troubleshoot Your Equipment First!

Often, problems with equipment do not necessarily require a service technician and many of these problems can be easily avoided. To save yourself equipment downtime and expense, follow this simple checklist to determine if your gear is really in need of service or not. Many of these questions seem very simplistic, but they are often overlooked.

  • Know your equipment. Read the instructions and keep them nearby.
  • Fully train everyone who will be using the equipment.
  • Accidentally mistreating today's high end gear almost always results in a large repair bill.
  • Designate someone to routinely test your gear. Eliminate surprises.
  • Before purchasing any equipment know the warranty, ask of any known problems and ask where the service depots are located.
  • Have a "back-up" plan. What will you do if the equipment doesn't work when you need it?

Other items to check...

  • Is the unit plugged in properly? Does the wall outlet work?
  • Is the unit turned on? Has the bulb burned out? Are there any cables (video or computer) that may be faulty? Did anyone check the batteries? Did you rewind the tape? Is the computer resolution set to match the projector's resolution?
  • Are you on the correct channel?
